The following tests/instrumental diagnostics are performed on specific days of the menstrual cycle:

- on days 2–5 of the menstrual cycle — follicle‑stimulating hormone;

- on days 2–5 of the menstrual cycle — luteinizing hormone;

- on days 2–5 of the menstrual cycle, abstain from sexual intercourse and physical activity for 2 days — prolactin;

- on days 2–5 of the menstrual cycle — estradiol.

On days 5–7 of the menstrual cycle (the last days of the cycle) — pelvic ultrasound.
